TBR: Die Autoren Version
Sun, Jan. 8th, 2012 14:50Meine "to-read" Liste auf Goodreads beträgt zur Zeit genau 115 Bücher. Es ist etwas unwahrscheinlich, dass ich diese jemals wirklich alle lesen werde, vorallem wenn ich in meinem derzeitigen Tempo weiter mache. (Ich habe in den letzten 8 Tagen gerade mal ca. 100 Seiten gelesen. Peinlich, peinlich.) Ein anderer Faktor ist, dass ich im Laufe der Zeit einfach das Interesse an dem einen oder anderen Buch verlieren werde. Ein weiterer sind einfach die verbundenen Kosten. Ich habe das Problem, dass ich so gut wie ausschließlich englische Bücher lesen möchte, die es in meiner örtlichen Bibliothek einfach nicht gibt, weil ich in Deutschland lebe. Natürlich gibt es auch fremdsprachige Bücher in deutschen Bibliotheken, allerdings dann meistens ältere und vorallem populäre Literatur. Harry Potter auf Englisch zu finden ist kein Problem, Nights of Villjamur dagegen dürfte sich als unmöglich herausstellen. Und eine Übersetzung mag ich einfach nicht lesen wollen. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, meine TBR Liste ist eigentlich (für meine Verhältnisse) sowieso schon zu lange, aber ich werde trotzdem einige Autoren auflisten, die ich irgendwann einmal lesen möchte und hoffentlich auch werde. Dabei handelt es sich ausschließlich um SF/F Autoren, weil es nun einmal meine Lieblingsgenre sind (wobei ich definitiv mehr SF lesen muss/will).

So, ich glaube das war's. Die Autorenzahl ist recht überschaubar - gerade einmal 18 - aber viele haben natürlich Serien geschrieben, so dass sich die Zahl der Bücher locker verdreifachen lässt.
Mir fällt gerade auf, dass das alles Männer sind. Yikes. Das könnte daran liegen, dass Fantasy-Autorinnen gerne klassischere und/oder romantischere Bücher schreiben. Siehe Hobb, Le Guin oder Marillier. Oder sie verknüpfen gerne Historie mit fantastischen (und romantischen) Elementen. Siehe Gabaldon oder Bradley. Tja, und mich interessiert nun eher epische, dunklere Fantasy und weniger klassische, romantische Fantasy.
